On first launch, set your rules, then either import a broker statement or tap Try with sample data to explore with a demo month.
Export an account statement as a CSV from your broker and open it in TradePlan (share it to the app, or use the Import button). thinkorswim is recognized automatically. For any other broker (Lightspeed, Webull, and more), TradePlan walks you through matching the columns once.
Do my trades go to the cloud? No. Everything stays on your device. TradePlan has no account and makes no network connections.
Does it connect to my brokerage? No. It only reads statement files you choose to import. It never places trades or moves money.
How do I move to a new phone? Settings → Export backup creates a single file. Save it, then use Restore from backup on the new phone.
I loaded sample data by accident. Settings → Remove sample data clears the demo trades and keeps your real imports.
